Hawk Secure Communications

Hawk is MHI’s core technology based on the company’s patent pending Secure Communications Protocol. Hawk makes it possible to secure communications between users and protected services, even across a ‘broken’ network. Hawk delivers secure, authenticated access to data and services, from any device (including smartphones and tablets), over any network, using any encryption standard. Hawk operates without the need for certificate or tokens, whilst also being fully transparent to and compatible with such legacy security measures.

The main elements of the Hawk system consist of:

• Verifier Gateway which establishes strong mutual authentication between the user / device and the protected service
• Service Gateway which secures the complete session between the user and the protected service
• Client Engine which is integrated with end-user applications by way of a powerful SDK (Software Development Kit)
